Norton-based Half Wiggum is an acoustic group featuring South Shore natives Mark Morris (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Jeff Nilsen (lead guitar), Wayne Hess (drums) and Bob Atkins (bass). In addition to acoustic, Half Wiggum’s sound includes powerpop and rockabililly and the band lists the Beatles, Rolling Stones, the Clash, the Doors, the Housemartins and Buffalo Tom among its musical influences. America’s hometown is home to New Ditty, a hard rocking metal band featuring the Murray brothers – Jesse on lead guitar and Corey on bass and vocals by Taylor, along with drummer Vinnie Malaguti and Shawn O’Kelley on rhythm guitar.
